From Skirlaugh to England!

The Skirlaugh Ex Players Association is proud to support Louis Pinkerton after his selection for the England Under-19 BARLA tour to France later this season.

Following successful Christmas and Easter raffles, alongside the incredible generosity of former players and members, the Association was able to donate £650 towards Louis’ fundraising target for the tour.

Originally, the Easter raffle was organised to fund Man of the Match sponsorships for both open-age teams throughout the season. Thanks to donations from Alan Towle, Matty Hoe, and an anonymous member who contributed a remarkable £1,000, those sponsorship costs were fully covered — allowing the raffle proceeds to be redirected towards supporting one of the club’s rising stars.

Louis made his first-team debut this season and has already shown the commitment and talent that earned him national recognition.

Everyone at Skirlaugh Rugby Club wishes Louis the very best in France and hopes this is the first of many proud moments in a Skirlaugh shirt. 🏉👏
