FINAL SIX TABLES REMAIN FOR SKIRLAUGH RLFC’S ANNUAL SPORTSMAN’S DINNER
More than 80 per cent of the available tables have already been sold for Skirlaugh RLFC’s Annual Sportsman’s Dinner—with only six tables now remaining.
The club has received an outstanding response since launching the event, with 26 of the 32 available tables already reserved for what promises to be a memorable afternoon at the MKM Stadium.
Taking place on Sunday 15 November 2026, the event will bring together members, supporters, sponsors, former players and friends of Skirlaugh for an afternoon of rugby league stories, entertainment and fundraising.
With only six tables still available, anyone wishing to attend is encouraged to book as soon as possible and help make the event a complete sell-out.
Steve McNamara returns as guest speaker.
Headlining the afternoon will be former Skirlaugh player and Ex-Players Association ambassador Steve McNamara.
Steve’s distinguished career has taken him throughout professional rugby league as a player, Head Coach of England and a highly respected coach at club and international level.
His appearance carries additional significance as he prepares to return to the city and take up the Head Coach position at Hull FC.
Steve retains a strong connection with Skirlaugh and its former players, making the dinner a fitting opportunity to welcome him back and hear first-hand about his career, experiences within the professional game and the next chapter awaiting him in Hull.
A full afternoon of entertainment.
The event will be hosted by popular MC John Stiles, who will guide guests through the afternoon and conversation with Steve.
Acclaimed comedian Austin Knight will also provide the entertainment, while a raffle and auction will help raise valuable funds in support of Skirlaugh RLFC.
Guests will arrive at the MKM Stadium from 12:00pm, with everyone seated for 12:30pm.
